When I first got the chance to code in a VAX/VMS supermini computer in the university, it was already on its way out, but I fell in love with how seamlessly you could create a secure and reliable application that users can immediately access from anywhere using their terminals.
Fast forward through C++ applications that run in OS, Java and .Net applications that run on a VM on any OS, Web applicatons that can run on any borwser on any OS, I am excited about how we make clould-native applications in meta-computers of Azure, AWS and Google Cloud using Software-as-Service
